Tourist Visa

Eligibility
Tourist Visa is available to citizens of all countries except ECOWAS Nationals who do not require visa to visit Nigeria and other countries which Nigeria has entered into visa abolition agreements.

Categories:

  • Foreign Travelers who wish to visit Nigeria for the purpose of Tourism.
  • Foreign Travelers who wish to visit family and friends.

Requirements

    • For Family;

      • Completed visa application form
      • Invitation letter from Nigerian sponsor (original copy preferred) – sponsor to take full responsibility for immigration and welfare of invitee while in Nigeria;
      • Copy of sponsor’s passport (mother & father)
      • Consent letter from parents who are not accompanying them.
      • Marriage Certificate (for wife)
      • Birth Certificate (for children)
      • Round trip airline ticket (Booking)
      • Evidence of sufficient funds
      • Valid passport
      • One (1) coloured passport-sized photograph (4×6)
      • Copy of applicant’s passport
      • Copy of Residence Card in Vietnam (for foreigner)

For a single person;

  • Completed visa application form
  • Invitation letter from Nigerian sponsor (original copy preferred) – sponsor to take full responsibility for immigration and welfare of invitee while in Nigeria;
  • Copy of sponsor’s passport.
  • Round trip airline ticket (booking)
  • Hotel reservation (booking)
  • Valid passport
  • Evidence of sufficient funds
  • One (1) passport-size coloured pictures (4×6)
  • Copy of applicant’s passport
  • Copy of Residence Card in Vietnam (for foreigner)

Note that this Visa is not valid for employment.

Timeline:
2 – 3 working days from receipt of application.

Payments for Consular Services provided by the Mission to be paid in US Dollars into the Embassy’s USD.

Procedure:
Step 1: Download visa application form by clicking here or the link below. Please note that you need adobe reader to view the form. If you do not have adobe reader please download it from here

Step 2: Affix 2 passport sized (35/40mm) passport photographs with white background.

Step 3: Mail application or proceed with the completed form to Embassy/High Commission for submission with attached requirements.

Note: Every applicant who is submitting a visa application must attend the visa application centre in person

All applications for visa and other consular services must first be submitted and cross-checked at the Embassy.
